In addition to the cleaning and repairing of masonry and terracotta with repairs to the roofs, Croft's package of works as Specialist Sub-contractor on the scheme for the refurbishment of the Coleridge, Ruskin and King Edward Buildings in Corporation Street, Birmingham included for the major overhauling of 1001 timber windows.
This briefly comprised easing casements, easing and re-balancing sliding sashes, renewing pulleys, parting beads and ironmongery and cutting out for and installing draught strips. Croft also repaired decayed timber sections and conserved joints using the Windowcare system. The package also included for redecoration.
